Eric Samek founded Brasa in 2018 after spending over a decade at AEW Capital Management running the Western US for their opportunistic funds. When founding Brasa, Eric assembled a seasoned team with over six decades of combined experience and deep networks in Brasa’s target geographies and asset types. Brasa has raised over $1 billion of capital on behalf of 15+ institutional investors.
